The on-board USB socket (max. 2.1A) converts the input voltage from 12V to the USB 5V standard. The housing (protection class IPX3) with a 1.5 m connection cable and battery terminals allows flexible mounting on the handlebar or tube with cable ties. In contrast to comparable sockets a spring-loaded cover is fitted, which closes automatically after use and does not float in the wind while riding, but rests on the plugged-in USB connector. The integrated on/off switch allows the USB plug to be deactivated after use and thus avoids permanent power consumption. The power status is confirmed by the integrated operating LED. Optional accessories: With the screw-on holder, the plug can be comfortably mounted on the stem or handlebars (22-28 mm) without cable ties.
